Commission Meeting Update
The Tuscaloosa County Commission meeting scheduled for March 16, 2O22 has been moved to March 30, 2O22 at 9:00 a.m.
County Courthouse Closed Monday, January 17th
In observance of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Day, the Tuscaloosa County Courthouse will be closed on Monday, January 17, 2022. We will resume normal business hours on Tuesday, January 18, 2022.
Tuscaloosa County Commission Approves Youth-Employment Initiative
In Wednesday’s County Commission meeting, the Commission unanimously approved a contract to partner with West AlabaamWorks! to develop a unique, youth-employment jobs portal and other workforce and community development services. To read the full announcement, click here.
County Offices Closed Monday January 3rd
The County Commission wishes you and your family a safe and happy New Year! In observance of New Year’s Day, county offices will be closed on Monday, January 3rd. State offices within the Courthouse will be open on Monday, January 3rd.

In observance of Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, County offices will be closed on Friday, December 24, 2021, and Monday, December 27, 2021. We will resume normal business hours on Tuesday, December 28, 2021.
