County Commission Work Session

The Tuscaloosa County Commission will conduct a work session at the conclusion of the regularly scheduled County Commission meeting August 18, 2021. The purpose of the work session will be to discuss the FY22 budget and related matters.

District 63 Special Election

Following Governor Ivey’s announcement for a special election to fill Alabama House District 63 seat, Probate Judge Rob Robertson issued the following proclamation under Section 17-15-5, Code of Alabama 1975, giving notice of the election dates.
– Special Primary Election: Tuesday, October 19, 2021
– Special Primary Runoff Election (if necessary): Tuesday, November 16, 2021
– Special General Election: Tuesday, February 1, 2022

Request for Proposals for Professional Architectural and Related Services for Design of FEMA-Rated Safe Room

The Tuscaloosa County Commission seeks the proposals of a professional architectural firm who have the knowledge, experience, and expertise to provide pre- and post-award services for FEMA funded community safe room projects. You can view the RFP by clicking here.

Request for Proposal for Professional Grant Application Development for Safe Room

The Tuscaloosa County Commission seeks proposals from qualified and experienced consultants who are interested in assisting the County with the development of and submission of grant applications, grant administration and other consulting services associated with management and implementation of a FEMA Hazard Mitigation Grant Program.
